n Pottsville: The 2016 Schuylkill County Visitors Guide is available. n Ringtown: Borough officials said there will be no parking from 8:30 a.m. today on both sides of Main Street from Fourth to Seventh streets for snow removal.
n Shenandoah: The Shenandoah Police Department announced there will be a temporary parking ban from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday on West Centre Street from Main to Vine streets for snow removal. Vehicles that are not moved will be ticketed and towed at the owner’s expense.
n Shenandoah: St. Michael Ukrainian Catholic Church will host pysanky-making classes beginning in February in the church hall, 300 W. Oak St. Pysanky — decorated Ukrainian Easter eggs — classes will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. on five Tuesdays, Feb. 23 and March 1, 8, 15 and 22. The cost is $45, which includes supplies.
