TOWER CITY — No one was injured in a fire at 236 S. Fourth St. on Friday.
Firefighters were called to the scene about 2:30 p.m.
“We made a really good stop on it,” Sheridan Assistant Fire Chief Dave Rhoades said.
“It was working pretty good,” he added.
Rhoades said he was not sure if anyone was home at the time of the fire.
Rhoades said the fire started in the rear corner of the home, but he did not know the cause. He said a fire marshal was called to determine the cause of the fire.
The home is owned by Daniel G. Dehaan, according to the Schuylkill Parcel Locator.
