TREMONT — A Dauphin County man is headed to Schuylkill County Court after waiving his right to a preliminary hearing Thursday on three sets of charges.

Joshua D. Dirossi, 22, of 1851 Spencer St., Harrisburg, is charged with theft from a motor vehicle, receiving stolen property and conspiracy in one case, two counts each of delivery of a controlled substance and possession of a controlled substance, three of possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance and one of possession of drug paraphernalia in the second and delivery of a controlled substance, possession with intent to deliver a controlled substance, criminal use of a communication facility, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a controlled substance in the third.

Magisterial District Judge David J. Rossi bound over all charges for court after Dirossi waived his right to the hearing.

Dirossi remains in prison in lieu of $30,000 straight cash bail, $10,000 in each case, pending further court action.

Foster Township police filed the charges in the first case and Tower City police filed the charges in the second and third cases.

Other defendants whose cases Rossi considered on Thursday, the charges against each one and the judge’s dispositions of the matters included:

Daniel A. Damico, 70, of 2333 East Hill, Eden, Vermont; possession of a controlled substance, possession of a small amount of marijuana, driving under the influence and careless driving; charges held for court after preliminary hearing that defendant did not attend. Rossi asked the court to issue a bench warrant for Damico.

Benjamin E. Hendricks, 28, of 107 Willing St., Llewellyn; driving under the influence, driving under suspension, careless driving and violation of restrictions on alcoholic beverages; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.

Joshua Jimenez, 22, of 1 W. Laurel St., Tremont; theft by deception, receiving stolen property and forgery; right to preliminary hearing waived, charges bound over for court.
